Add Attachments to Contacts using Outlook add-in

When using the Thread for Email Outlook add-in, select an email in your Outlook that has the attachment you wish to add to a contact in Thread.

Under your Contacts list, click the down arrow next to Attachments.


Select the contact you wish to add attachments to if there are multiple contacts from the email.


Select the attachment(s) you wish to add to this contact, double click on the attachment name to rename it if needed, and click Add Attachments to Contact.



Only Attachments of type PDF / text and images can be attached to Contacts. You can only add attachments to existing Thread Contacts. Click here to learn how to create Thread contacts using the Outlook add-in.

A pop up message will show confirming you have successfully added an attachment to your Thread contact.


Added attachments will show in Attachments tab on your Contact in Thread.
