Working with Clients in eXpd8

Adding Clients 

Build up your address book on eXpd8 by adding new clients easily. Easily link clients to files after their details have been added. 

  1. 1. Click Add Client on the home page. 

 

  1. 2. A pop-up window will appear. Add in the contact's details including their full name, address, and company information if relevant. To create an eXpd8 Accounts code for the new contact, click New Code beside A/C code. 

 

  1. 3. You can add any important documents by clicking on the Key Documents tab, and upload a will or deed by clicking on the Wills & Deeds tab. 

 

  1. 4. When finished, click Save. 


Editing Client Details 

  1. 1. Click Address Book on the home page. 

 

  1. 2. Select a contact and click Update. 

 

  1. 3. The Edit Client details window will appear. Add or change contact details where necessary. 

 

  1. 4. Click Save.  

  1. 5. To create a new contact using the updated details, click Save as New. 


Deleting Clients 

If you want to remove a client from eXpd8, you can do this easily. 

Note: If your client is the main client of a file, you will have to reassign another main client. 

  1. 1. Click Address Book on the home page. 

 

  1. 2. Select the contact you want to delete and click Delete on the top pane. 

 

  1. 3. A confirmation window will appear. Click Yes. 


Linking Clients to a File 

Once you have added clients to eXpd8, you can easily link them to a file. 

  1. 1. Click Address Book on the home page. 

 

  1. 2. Select the client you want to link to a file and click Link to File on the top pane. 

 

  1. 3. A pop-up window will appear. Search for a file using the search bar or filters shown. Select the file you want to link the client to and click OK.
