Company Files - Templates and Billing

Some file functionality will work differently when the file is assigned to a company rather than individual.

You will see a different icon at the top of the file (left of the file code and name) depending on whether it is an individual file or a company file.

A file that is assigned to a company will have the company name and location on the File Details page:

Generating Templates on Company Files

When generating templates on a company file, the template fields that are coded to show the primary client main address will show the company address instead (address of the company location assigned to the file).

    --->

Your primary contact main address might show a different address if that contact is linked to another company location, however in templates the contact's main address will be overridden by the address of the Company Location in File Summary.

Issuing Bills on Company Files

When issuing bills on a company file, the same will apply for address fields as any template on a company file (see above).

On that company page, you will see the total issued bill value on the Summary tab, and the total value still to be billed.
