Contact Documents

You may need to add documents, such as a passport, medical records, or a driver’s license to a contact on Thread. This can be done at any stage through the Contacts tab.  

Uploading Contact Documents 


1. Click Contacts, located in the left pane of your Thread page.  

2. Search for the contact you want to attach documents to and double click on their name.  

3. The Edit Contact window will pop up. Click the Attachments tab. 




4. You can add documents by dragging and dropping or by clicking on the box shown.  


Notes
The document must be less than 300MB.

5. Click Upload to upload the attachment.  

6. When finished, click Save. You can find a contacts documents under the Attachments tab of their details. 


Downloading Contact Attachments  

Attachments that have been added to a contact can be downloaded at any time.  


1. Click Contacts, located in the left pane of your Thread page. 

2. Search for the contact you want to download the documents from and double click on their name.  

3. The Edit Contact window will pop up. Click the Attachments tab.   

4. Select the attachment(s) you want to download and click Download, located on top. 



 5. You can find the downloaded attachments in your PC’s Downloads folder.
