You can create a quick note on any matter on Thread, that you can view in the Documents page. This could include notes from a meeting with a client or information about the progress of a case, for example.
1. Click on Matters in the left pane of Thread and go to the desired matter.
2. Under the Documents tab, click the drop-down arrow beside the + Document button.
3. Click Matter Note.

4. A pop-up window will open for you to make a matter note and fill in relevant information.

5. When finished, click Create.
You can view and edit the matter note any time from your Documents page.
If a matter note has more than 2000 words it will automatically convert to a Word document.
