Error: Dot Net 4.8 error when trying to install the Outlook Plugin
When you are trying to install the Outlook Plugin for Thread you get the error below.
"This Setup Requires the .NET Framework 4.8 to be installed.
Dot Net is a Microsoft framework used by applications, it is a free download that must be in place before you can install the Outlook plugin.
To install the Dot Net 4.8 framework you must have administrator rights to the PC - this means you must be able to install and remove software.
Download Dot Net 4.8 from here - https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet-framework/thank-you/net48-web-installer
Once downloaded you will need to run the installer and follow the on screen commands.
After the install is complete it may ask you to restart the computer if so you must do this before attempting the install of Outlook plugin.
Resume the install of the Outlook Plugin.
