Editing Custom Field Details on Matters
You can add custom fields to matters, that are specific to a matter category. For example, in a family law case, you can include custom fields such as Date of Marriage, Date of Separation, and Number of Children.
Custom fields must be created in Template Desk before they can be added to a matter category.
To edit the custom fields on matters: - Click Matters in the left pane of Thread.

- Search for the matter where you want to enter custom field details.
- Click the matter name to open it.
- Edit the pinned custom fields on the Overview page or click See all to navigate to the full custom fields list for the matter. You can also click Custom Fields in the top tabs.

- The custom fields set up for the category of your matter will appear. Enter any relevant information into the fields

- The changes will save automatically.
