Error opening docs in desktop apps ( Microsoft Update )
Error below comes up when opening any document via desktop app but opens when using the web browser.
This is usually caused by Microsoft update on a user's PC which needs to re install the latest Microsoft Visual C++.
Solution:
1. Please contact your IT provider to re install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ on the users PC and have them go to the link below;
2. Download the highlighted version below:
3. Once this is downloaded and installed, The user's PC will need to be rebooted completely then retest opening docs in desktop app again.
4. Same procedure applies to all users experiencing the same error.
