Exporting Time on Files


With Thread, you can print and export time you have spent on a file to a PDF or an Excel document. This document will include the amount of time you have spent on file activities, the rate, the time type, and the value of the time spent. 
  1. 1. Click Files in the left pane of Thread. 

  1. 2. Click the file you want to export time for.  

  1. 3. Go to the Activities page, located under File Documents. 

 

  1. 4. Click the three dots on the right side of the grey pane to open more options. 

 

  1. 5. Click the arrow beside Export and select Export Time. 

 

  1. 6. A new window will appear with a document containing time history, time type the rate, activity type, and the value. Select the blue buttons to export to a PDF or Excel document, or click the printer icon in the top right corner to print the document. 

 

  1. 7. Clicking either Export button will automatically download the document to your desktop.
