How To: Client Time History

The File Reports section of Thread provides users with a complete overview of how much time members in the organisation have spent on files and the cost of time spent, based on users hourly rates. Client Time History Reports can be viewed based on the primary client or company on a file within a particular date range. You can then print this report directly from Thread. 

Viewing and Exporting Client Time History Reports 

  1. 1. Click Reports on the left side pane of Thread. 

  1. 2. Click General Reports from the drop-down menu. 

 

  1. 3. On the General Reports page, scroll down to Client Reports, and click to open the drop-down list. 




  1. 4. Toggle for Company or Client and enter filters for viewing including a date range. 



  1. 6. When finished applying filters, click Preview in the top grey pane. 

 

  1. 7. The file report will automatically generate. Click the buttons shown to export the report to a PDF or Excel document.




  2. You can also print directly from Thread by clicking the printer icon shown.
