How to remove a default template when opening a new file

It is highly possible that there is a default template on the categories where a new  files / case are opened.

If that is the case then you will need to have someone who have Thread Administrator access.

1. Go to Admin Settings

2. Select Files

3. Go to Category

4. Select the Category you want to check / edit then click on Edit

5.Make sure that Default Templates section is blank

6. If there is an entry there click on the "X" to delete

7. Save the settings. This will make all new file / case created on that category free from any default template.

NOTE: It is best to check each and every category to make sure there are no default templates on each category.
