How to View Closed Files Reports

How to View Closed Files Reports

With Thread, you can print or export a list of closed files to a PDF or an Excel document, using File Creation report. File Creation report can be viewed based on the specific file owner, all file owners, a category and a particular date range.
If you need to generate a report of your closed files in a particular year, you can choose your username, select the date range, and you will be given a complete report of the files you closed in that year. You can then print this report directly from Thread.

  1. Click Reports on the left side pane of Thread.

  2. Click General Reports from the drop-down menu.

   3. On the General Reports page, scroll down to Others, and click to open the drop-down list.
   4. Select File Creation.

5. A pop-up window will appear on the right side of the page. Enter filters for viewing the file creation including the file category, the file owner (or all owners), creation / closed date, and you can select the status to Closed.

The report will only include files that were created in that period set under creation date, and files closed in the selected period of closed date, so it is important to select a creation date as far back to ensure you capture all files you need.

6. When finished applying filters, click Preview on the top grey pane.

   7. The file report will automatically generate. Click the buttons shown to export the report to a PDF or Excel document.

You can also print directly from Thread by clicking the printer icon shown in the top right of the preview.
