Joining a Remote Session

Thread team provides training and support via remote session connections to your device to be able to assist you with your Thread directly from your device. Please see the steps below to join a remote session.
Note: Access to your device is only enabled during the session, once the session has ended we no longer have access to your device.

  • Open the session link in your inbox sent by your technician.
  • Click on JOIN SESSION button in the email.

  • Enter your name and click on  JOIN SESSION again.

  • Click  Download  in the next page that opens up.


       7. You will see a file downloaded called  ZA_Connect.exe. Open the file and then click on JOIN to join the remote support session initiated by your technician.


Note: Your device might ask you to allow permission to this app, click Yes.


      8. Your technician will now be able to view and control your screen for the duration of the session.

You can chat with your technician using the chat option on the Zoho Assist pop up at the bottom right corner of your screen.



Choose which screen to share with your technician if using multiple screens.



To end the session simply click on the X icon to close and press Ok.
