Editing Key Dates on a File

Editing Key Dates on a File

Once key dates have been created in Admin Settings, you can easily add them to your files. When a key date has been entered to a file, the file owner and the user adding the date will see it in their Outlook calendar, and receive a reminder in advance (in admin settings you can set how many days in advance you would like a reminder for key dates). You can also include other team members you wish to have the key date showing in their calendar.

Editing Key Dates on a File

  1. 1. Click on Files, under File Management in the left pane of your Thread page.

  1. 2. Search for the file you want to enter a key date to.

  1. 3. Click on the file name.

  1. 4. Under the File details tab, select Key Dates.

  1. 5. The key dates available for the file category will appear. You can enter the date, specific time if applicable, and include team members to show the date in their calendar.

  1. 6. When finished entering details, click Save.

Note: If no dates appear under the Key Dates tab of your file, you may need to add key dates to your files category. You can do this in Admin Settings.
