Logging Time for File Activities

You can log time for tasks, appointments, documents, phone calls, and more in the File Activities tab. You can choose multiple activities at once and charge different rates for each activity. 

  1. 1. Click on Files in the left pane of Thread. 

  1. 2. Search for your file in the search bar provided. 

  1. 3. Click on the file name. You will automatically be brought to the File Activities page, located under File Documents. 

 

  1. 4. Select the activities you want to log time for and click Log Time in the top grey pane. 


  1. 5. A pop-up window will appear. You can choose the time type, amount of time, and rate for each activity.  


  1. 6. When finished, click Save.
