Mark Items for Attention

With Thread, you can easily mark a matter for the attention of another user if there has been an update on a case, or you want a colleague to look at a particular matter. 

Once you bring a matter or contact to a colleague's attention, it will show instantly on their dashboard. 




Mark a Matter for Attention 


1. Click Matters on the left pane.  All open matters will show by default 


2. Search for the matter you want to mark for a colleague’s attention, using pinpoint search or the advance search filters available. 


3. Select the matter, click on the ellipsis button and select Mark for attention. 



4. A pop-up window will appear, In the Users field, start typing the name/email address of your colleague. 


5. Add a cover note for your colleague explaining why you are bringing the matter to their attention and Save. 


6. The matter will now be displayed on your colleague’s dashboard in the quick access area entitled Attention.

Mark a Contact for Attention


You can just as easily mark a contact for attention with just a right click of your mouse. 

1. Click Contacts in the left pane.  All Contacts will show by default 

2. Search for the Contact you want to mark for a colleague’s attention, using pinpoint search or the advanced search filters available. 

3. Right-click the contact and select Mark for attention in the dialog box. 


​4. A pop-up window will appear, In the Users field, start typing the name/email address of your colleague. 

5. Add a cover note for your colleagues explaining why you are bringing the contact to their attention and Save



6. The Contact will now be displayed on your colleague’s dashboard in the quick access area entitled Attention.
