Once you have created a matter, you can edit it at any time. You can change the status, add documents, add custom fields, answer matter questions, add contacts, include key dates, log time, and much more.
1. Click Matters in the left pane.
2. Search and select the matter you want to edit
3. You will be brought to the Overview page of the matter. Here you can view and update the main matter information.
View and edit main Details of the matter, including the Name, Code, Category, Stage, Status, Owner, Office Location, Date Created, Date Closed, Date Archived, Description.
Pin matter to your dashboard
Link and remove Contacts related to the matter by clicking on Manage.
You can view all important Upcoming dates on the matter in this section. Dates can also be added and amended in the Events tab (see
above)
View or add Related matters linked to the matter.
Update Custom Fields specific to the matter. You can also edit these fields in the Custom Fields tab (see
above)
4. Use the arrows to expand/collapse each section of the overview page.
