Configure nationalities on Thread so they can be added to a contact’s information.
Nationalities can be configured by global administrators in Admin Settings.
1. Click Admin Settings on the left pane of Thread.
2. In the Admin Centre the General Tab.
3. From the left pane, click Nationality.
4. Click Add on the top pane.
5. A pop-up window will appear, enter the new nationality name.
6. Click Save.
You can edit a nationality at any time to change its name.
Note: The nationality will be changed for all contacts who have been previously assigned the nationality in their contact details.
1. Click Admin Settings on the left pane of Thread.
2. In the Admin Centre the General Tab.
3. From the left pane, click Nationality.
4. Select a nationality and click Edit in the top grey pane.
5. In the Edit Setting window, enter a new name.
6. Click Save.
If you have an existing nationality list from your firm or from clients, you can easily import this list to Thread.
Note: The nationality list must be in Excel format.
1. Click Admin Settings on the left pane of Thread.
2. In the Admin Centre the General Tab.
3. From the left pane, click Nationality.
4. In the top grey pane, click Import.
5. Your desktop documents tab will pop up. Select a nationality list from your desktop.
Note: The nationality list must be an Excel sheet.
6. Click Open on your document pop-up to import the list. It will automatically save to Thread.
You can remove a nationality from Thread settings at any time.
Note: The nationality will be removed from all contacts who have been previously assigned the nationality in their contact details.
1. Click Admin Settings on the left pane of Thread.
2. In the Admin Centre the General Tab.
3. From the left pane, click Nationality.
4. Select a nationality and click Delete in the top grey pane.
5. A pop-up window will ask you to confirm your decision. Click OK.
