The Questions Tab, within client details in Thread, facilitates the capturing of Proof of Identity images and documentation to meet AML requirements.
To show a Question for clients, the question must first be added in Settings.
1. Select the settings tab on the bottom left of your menu.
2. Select General and then Questions.
3. To add a new Question, click +Questions in the top right corner.
4. A pop-up window will appear. Enter the Question in the Questions field and if a document upload will be required, toggle AML Question to Yes.
If the question will not require a document upload, leave AML Question toggled to No
5. Click Save.
If you need to remove any Questions from Thread, you can do this easily.
1. Select the settings tab on the bottom left of your menu.
2. Select General and then Questions.
3. To add a new Question, click +Questions in the top right corner.
4. Select the Question you wish to remove and click Delete in the top grey pane.
5. A confirmation window will appear. Click OK.
1. Click Contacts, located on the left pane.
2. Search for the contact you want to add a document for and double click their name.
3. The Edit Contact window will appear. Go to the Questions tab.
4. Toggle the relevant Question to Yes and the option will appear to Drop an image or Office file or click the box to upload the document.
Note: The file(s) must be less than 300MB.
5. Click Upload.
6. Once uploaded, you can click the Pencil icon to the right and add comments in the Comments box if required.
7. Click Ok.
Thread can automatically generate reports listing all Yes/No answers to Questions so that you can follow up with clients who have not yet submitted the required proof of identity documents.
1. Select the Reports tab on the bottom left of your menu.
2. Select User Reports tab, then Contact Questions.
3. Set your preferred Parameters, then click View Report. The report will automatically be generated.
4. Click the buttons shown in the top toolbar to export the report to a PDF, Excel or HTML document. You can also Preview, by clicking the Preview icon, and you can print directly from Thread, by clicking the Printer icon.
