Requisitions

Requisitions

The Requisitions tab is for cheque requisitions made on behalf of the client to a third party (i.e. a conveyancer). Solicitors and accountants can make requisitions directly through a file on Thread for a client, provided that the contact is linked to the file. Once created, requisitions can be managed directly from the Requisitions page on Thread, or on the Client Account tab.

Money that is used for cheque requisitions is taken directly from the Client Account, which serves as a trust or reserve fund for the client.

Note: On the Financial Details section of the File Summary page, 'Client Payments' refers to requisitions, and 'Client Deposits' refers to money added to the Client Account page.
