Searching for matters & exporting matter list

Users can search matters and export a list of all matters whether open, closed or archived or a particular category of matters and even matters created within a certain timeframe. 

 

  1. 1. Click Matters in the left pane.

All open matters will show by default. 

 

  1. 2. Click Filter and set your preferred search criteria, e.g. particular category, matter stages, matter owner, status, office location.

  1. 3. To search for matters created in a particular date range, select Advanced Search.

  1. 4. A pop-up window will appear, where you can set your preferred date range

  1. 5. Click on Apply to set your chosen selection. 

 

If you wish to export your selection, click on Export in the top right corner.

Your report will download in excel format for your convenience. 

 

 

Filtering Matters by Custom fields 
 

  1. 1. Click Matters in the left pane.

All open matters will show by default. 

 

  1. 2. Click Filter and set your preferred search criteria, e.g. particular category, matter stages, matter owner, status, office location.

  1. 3. Select Advanced Search and a pop-up window will appear where you can select a custom field by which you wish to filter matters.

  1. 4. Select the value that is populated in that custom field on matters to view all matters that have this value entered.

  1. 5. Click on Apply to view your chosen selection of matters.
