Sending Email Record - How to show your sent email on activities page
There are two default email record settings on Thread that can be changed by editing your Personal Settings:
1. Activity Log.
2. Eml file.
To change these settings, do the following:
Activity Log Setting
1. Click your username in the top right corner.
2. Click Personal settings.
- 3. Scroll down to Sending email record and select Activity Log from the drop-down menu.
- 4. Click Save.
- With this setting, emails that you send from a file will show in the file activities screen as an activity log.
- To view the actual email, you can then click on the Emails tab of the file and locate the email in the Sent Items folder
Eml File Setting
- 1. Click your username in the top right corner.
- 2. Click Personal settings.
- 3. Scroll down to Sending email record and select Eml file from the drop-down menu.
- 4. Click Save.
- With this setting, emails that you send from a file will show in the file Activities screen as Eml files.
- To view the email, you can click on it in the Activities screen and a preview will open on a separate link in your browser
- From here, you can also click Download to view the email
