Set Task Subjects - Admin

All tasks created on Thread must have a task subject / title. When creating a task, you can enter a unique subject, or you can use existing set subjects created in Settings. Having task subjects pre-set helps to create tasks faster, allowing users to choose an existing title from a drop-down menu when creating tasks.

Adding Task Subjects 

Task subjects must first be configured in Admin Settings before they can be added to tasks on Thread. 

  1. 1. Click Settings in the left pane of Thread. 

  1. 2. Select the General tab. 



    3. Click Task Subject.   

    

    4. Click Add on top right corner.

    5. A pop-up window will appear. Enter the name of the task subject you want to add.

   

   6. Click Save. 

   You can now add subjects to tasks on Thread, and view them in order of subject name on the Tasks page. 


Renaming Task Subjects 

If you need to rename a task subject on Thread, you can do this easily.  

     1. Click Settings in the left pane of Thread. 
     2. Select the General tab. 


    3. Click Task Subject.   

    

    4. Select the task subject you want to rename and click Edit in the top pane. 

    5. In the Edit Setting pop-up that appears, enter a new task subject name.  

    6. ClickSave. 


Deleting Task Subjects 

If you want to remove a task subject from Thread, you can do this easily. 

   
     1. Click Settings in the left pane of Thread. 
     2. Select the General tab. 
    


    3. Click Task Subject.   

    

   4. Select the task subject you want to remove from Thread and click Delete in the top pane. 

   5. A confirmation window will appear asking you to confirm your decision. Click OK.
