Thread Release Notes 6th May 2025

Key Dates on Templates

Now that multiple of the same key date type can be added to a matter, templates have been updated to populate with the first upcoming key date of that type.
For example, when you have multiple hearing dates on a matter, when generating a document from template which is coded to pull Hearing Date, it will populate with the date which is the closest next Hearing date on the matter.

Matter X - Hearing Date 1st April (past) / Hearing Date 1st May (past) / Hearing Date 1st June (upcoming) / Hearing Date 1st July (upcoming)
The template document generated on the 6th May will populate the Hearing Date as 1st June.

If there is no upcoming key date, the template document will populate with the nearest past key date.
In above example, this would be 1st May.
