With Thread, you can enable time rounding for time you spend on files. This means that if you have time rounding set to 8 minutes, and you spend 5 minutes sending an email on a file, the time spent will automatically round to 8 minutes.
Note: You must have a file open for at least 90 seconds to trigger time rounding.
1. Click Admin Settings in the left pane of Thread.
2. Click the System tab.
3. In the left pane, click Time Rounding Unit.
4. Select the time rounding unit and click Edit in the top grey pane.
5. A pop-up window will appear. Enter the time rounding value into the Value Minutes field and toggle to Enable. The time you spend on a file will be rounded to multiples of the value you enter.
Note: You must have a file open for at least 90 seconds to trigger time rounding.
6. Click Save.
If you no longer want to automatically round time you spend on a file, you can disable the time rounding feature at any time.
1. Click Admin Settings in the left pane of Thread.
2. Click the System tab.
3. In the left pane, click Time Rounding Unit.
4. Select the time rounding unit and click Edit in the top grey pane.
