Time Type - Admin

Thread allows you to add time types in Admin Settings that can then be selected when logging time or for any time recorded on activities. You can choose a default time type, and use other time types for when the time is not billable or is included in a fixed fee, etc.

Adding Time Types

  1. 1. Click Admin Settings under User Hub on the left pane of Thread.

  1. 2. In the Admin Centre, click the Files tab.

  1. 3. In the menu on the left, select Time Type.

  1. 4. Click Add in the top grey pane.

  1. 5. A pop-up window will appear. Enter the name of the time type and click Save.

The time type can now be applied to time logged on Thread.
If the time type you are creating would be your default time type, toggle Yes under Default.

If you need to rename or delete time types, simply click left of it to select it and choose Edit or Delete.
