Time Type - Admin

Time types can be set up in the Thread Settings by the firm administrators, allowing you to apply relevant time types to time records.

Time types can be set as either Billable or Non-billable, dictating whether the time record with that time type applied could be included in a bill. You can also set a time value for time types, which would auto-populate the ‘Billable time’ field when the relevant time type is applied.

You can choose which time type should be applied as default, and use other time types for tracking time included in a fixed fee, spent on a specific type of work like reporting etc.

Time types can be set up in the Thread Settings by the firm administrators.

  1. Select the settings tab Picture, Picture, Picture, Picture, Pictureon the bottom left of your menu.

Notes

Setting a time value (hh:mm) for a time type will automatically apply that value to the Billable time field on new time records. You can only set time values for time types set as Billable -> Yes.

Once you have created a time type, you can add it to time records. Learn more about time record details here.

  1. When finished editing, click Save.

If you need to instead delete a time type, choose Delete option in the toolbar once time type is selected.
