Undertaking Types - Admin

Categorise undertakings added to Thread by assigning them a type. Undertaking types must first be configured in Admin Settings before they can be added to Thread. 

Adding Undertaking Types 

  1. 1. Click Admin Settings, under User Hub. 

  1. 2. Click the Files tab. 

 

  1. 3. In the left pane, click Undertaking Type. 

 

  1. 4. Click Add in the top grey pane. 

  1. 5. A pop-up window will appear. Enter a name for the undertaking type. 

 

  1. 6. Click Save. 

Renaming Undertaking Types 

Easily rename undertaking types after they have been created. 

  1. 1. Click Admin Settings, under User Hub. 

  1. 2. Click the Files tab. 

 

  1. 3. In the left pane, click Undertaking Type. 

 

  1. 4. Select the undertaking type you want to rename and click Edit in the top pane. 

  1. 5. Enter a new name for the undertaking type in the pop-up and click Save. 

 

Deleting Undertaking Types 

You can delete undertaking types at any stage after they have been created. However, if undertakings exist in this type, you must first reassign a type to those undertakings. 

  1. 1. Click Admin Settings, under User Hub. 

  1. 2. Click the Files tab. 

 

  1. 3. In the left pane, click Undertaking Type. 

 

  1. Select the undertaking type you want to delete and click Delete in the top pane. 

  1. A pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm your decision. Click OK.
