Uninstalling Thread Email Office Outlook Extension

Do you need to uninstall your Thread Email extension because of an upgraded version, or for other related reasons? Follow the instructions below to successfully uninstall the Outlook extension. 

From your Outlook app:

  1. 1. Go to your Outlook app. 

  1. 2. Click File in the top left corner. 

 

  1. 3. On the Info page, scroll down to click Manage Add-ins. 

 

  1. 4. You will be redirected to Outlook on web & a pop-up window will appear. 

  1. 5. On the pop-up, click My add-ins on the left panel. 


  1. 6. Click the ellipsis (…) on the bottom right of Thread for Email. 

  1. 7. Click Remove. 


The extension will take a couple of seconds to uninstall from your Outlook account.


From your Web Outlook:

1. When in https://outlook.office.com/mail/ click on ellipsis in the ribbon and go to Get add-ins

  1. 2. On the pop-up, click My add-ins on the left panel. 

  2. 3. Click the ellipsis (…) on the bottom right of Thread for Email. 

  3. 4. Click Remove.
