Uploading Scanned Items directly to Matters

1. First locate the scanned folder on your device e.g. (C:) drive or (P:) drive 


2. Select View then Preview pane (to ensure that you can see a preview of your scanned items) 


You can also click Show and select Use check boxes to make selecting multiple items easier


Tip: Rename the documents as you would like them to appear in Documents when you bring them over to Thread. 


3. In Thread, open the matter where you wish to upload your scanned document(s) under the Documents tab. 


4. Drag/drop the documents from your scanned folder directly into the matter and Upload

InfoIf you would like the uploaded scanned item to also show in Document review: 

Once the documents are in the Documents, you can select them and click Assignee on the right side. A pop-up window will appear.  


Change the document status torelevant one by using the drop-down box, choose the user who should be assigned to review the document and fill in other fields then click Save.  



The scanned item(s) will also now appear in Document review located under To-do list.
