Creating a Template Workflow

Creating a Template Workflow

Improve the way you work on Thread by setting up template workflows. Be reminded to send out documents by adding tasks to templates and linking the subsequent document to the task, ensuring that you never forget to send out a document or letter again.

Notes
Before you begin: If you want to add a Next Template to a workflow, ensure you have created all templates in the Template Desk, and that they are in the same matter category.

1. Upload all documents that you want to set a template workflow for to the Template Desk.

2. Select the first template in your flow and click Edit in the top grey pane.

3. Set the Task toggle to Yes.

4. Enter a Task Title. (e.g. 'send a follow-up letter to the client')

5. In the Next Template field, start to type the title of the template that you want to add to the task and select the subsequent template from the list.

6. Click on the drop-down menu to select the Stage for Next template.

InfoIf a template has a stage selected, the matter stage will automatically change to the stage set on the template once generated on a matter.

7. In the Task Reminder (Days) field, enter after how many days prior that the task will be due to generate the next template.

8. Click Save.

AlertGlobal Category templates cannot have a task or stage associated with them.
