Matters With No Primary Client Report
All matters should have at least a Primary Client as a contact, especially when integrated with an Accounts software. If users neglect to add a Primary Client upon matter creation, they can be added at a later stage, as per the steps outlined in this article: Mark a Contact as 'Primary Client' on a Matter.
To determine which matters do not have a Primary Client assigned, you can access a Matters With No Primary Client report. This report can be filtered by Category, Matter Owner, Status and Date Opened.
Viewing and Exporting Matters With No Primary Client Report
1. Click the Reports icon in the bottom left pane of Thread.
2. The Management Reports tab will show by default.
3. Select the Matters With No Primary Client Report.
4. This will show you the Matters With No Primary Client report preview.
5. Click on the Filter
icon, to set your preferred From and To date range, Category, matter Status and matter Owner.
6. Select View Report in the bottom right corner.
7. Click on the Print Preview icon
to preview, or the Printer icon
to print.
8. You can apply a search term, if required.
9. Any search term applied will be highlighted in the report for your convenience.
10. You can also export this report in PDF, Excel or HTML format, according to your preference.
11. The Matters With No Primary Client Report will automatically generate with your selected filters in your preferred format.
