The Trust Account reports give you the ability to monitor and manage all your clients' trust monies and payments in/out on behalf of your client. At any stage, you can extract a Trust Balances report, a Trust Deposits and Payments report and a Cheque Requisitions report.

The Trust Balances report provides an overview of your Client Account balances. This report can be viewed based on trust balances for the whole firm or can be filtered by Client/Company, Matter Owner, Category, and Matter Status in a specific date range. You can then print this report directly from Thread as needed.
1. Click the Reports icon in the bottom left pane of Thread.
2. The Management Reports tab will show by default. Select the Financial Reports tab.
3. Click on the Trust Balances Report.
4. A pop-up menu will appear. By default, Thread will report on All Companies and All Contacts. If you wish to view only a specific company or contact, you can type the company/contacts name directly in the spaces shown below.
5. Select View Report.
6. This will show you the Trust Balances report preview.
7. Click on the Filter icon, to set your preferred From and To date range, Matter Category, Matter Owner and Matter Status (i.e. Open, Closed, Pending Closed, Archived).
8. Select View Report in the bottom right corner.
9. Click on the Print Preview icon to preview, or the Printer icon to print.
10. You can apply a search term, if required.
11. Any search term applied will be highlighted in the report for your convenience.
12. You can also export this report in PDF, Excel or HTML format, according to your preference.
13. The Trust Balances Report will automatically generate, with your selected filters in your preferred format.

Keep track of all cheque requisitions made on behalf of your client to a third party (e.g. a conveyancer). The Cheque Requisitions report reflects all requisitions made on behalf of the client, within a specific date range. This report can be filtered by matter owner, matter status, or category. You can also print the report directly from Thread.
