You can view and edit all activities you have carried out on a file in Thread within the file Activities page, including tasks, appointments, bills, expenses, documents, and more.
1. Click on Files in the left pane of Thread.
2. Search for your file in the search bar provided.
3. Click on the file name. You will automatically be brought to the Activities page, located under File Documents.
4. Once you are on the file Activities page, you can edit activities, log time, include the activity in a bill, and add it to a group activity.
You can add a file activity from within the File Activities page of a file, including Word documents, Excel Workbooks, PowerPoint presentations, templates, appointments, alerts, tasks, emails, and file notes.
1. Click on Files in the left pane of Thread.
2. Search for your file in the search bar provided.
3. Click on the file name. You will automatically be brought to the File Activities page, located under File Documents.
4. Click New in the top pane to add a document or click the arrow to open a drop-down box of options.
5. Select the activity you wish to add. A pop-up window will appear.
6. Fill in all relevant details for the activity you wish to add. Mandatory fields are marked with *.
7. When finished, click Go to document.
8. The document will open in edit mode, and will also appear on the Activity page of a file.
9. Edit the document to include necessary information, save and close it.
10. Click Save on the Add a new document tab on Thread.
The activity will automatically link to the file you are on and will appear in the File Activities tab.
