The Timesheet Reports on Thread provides users with a complete overview of how much time members in the organisation have spent on matters and the cost of time spent, based on users' hourly rates. Timesheet Reports can be viewed based on billable and nonbillable time across matters in a particular date range. You can also print these reports directly from Thread, if required for your internal company meetings.
The Timesheet report provides an overview of all time records for the whole firm and can be filtered by Matter Owner(s) in a specific date range. This report includes the matter Name and Code, the Date time was recorded, Record Type (e.g. document, email, matter note), Time Type (i.e. billable or unbillable), Rate, total Logged, Billable and Nonbillable time. You can add/remove columns in your report as required, (i.e. Description, Matter Status, All) and can print the report directly from Thread as needed.
1. Click the Reports icon in the bottom left pane of Thread.
2. The Management Reports tab will show by default.
3. Select the Timesheet Report.
4. This will show you the Timesheet report preview.
5. Click on the Filter icon, to set your preferred From and To date range, Users and select the Columns you wish to include in your report (i.e. Description, Matter Status, All).
6. Select View Report in the bottom right corner.
7. Click on the Print Preview icon to preview, or the Printer icon
to print.
8. Apply a search term, if required.
9. Any search term applied will be highlighted in the report for your convenience, and you can click on any matter name to open the matter in a new tab.
10. You can also export this report in PDF, Excel or HTML format, according to your preference.
11. The Timesheet Report will automatically generate with your selected filters in your preferred format.
The My Timesheet report provides an overview of all your billable and nonbillable time records across all matters in a specific date range.
