Events – Overview

The Events feature on Thread allows you to keep track of important appointments and key dates, such as client meetings, court dates, or agreement dates on your matter. With this feature, you can set reminders for appointments and key dates which automatically link to your ​​​​​Outlook calendar. Once key dates have been created, they can be used across Thread, including in template fields.  

 

All matters have an Events tab where appointments and key dates can be added and managed, in both List and Calendar view.

 


 


InfoFor easy identification, Appointments will be categorised Blue in your matter calendar while Key dates will always show in Green. 

Upcoming appointments and key dates can also be easily accessed on the matter Overview page, so you never miss an important date. 

 


Notes
After creating key dates in your admin settings, you will need to select relevant key dates for each category so they will be available to add on all matters in that category. 

 

Key dates on all matters across your organisation can be accessed in the Key Dates page of Thread. You can view key dates by type, by matter owner, by category, by office location, and within a certain date range.
