Tasks Management – Overview

All your tasks can be managed directly from our To-do list page, where you can focus on the most relevant and important tasks, document reviews and calls that need completion, ensuring you are up to date with your workload. 

 

Create general tasks or link them to matters, documents, call logs, emails and events (ensuring all relevant follow up and preparatory actions are completed). You can also record your time spent working on Tasks for time tracking or billing purposes. 

 

General Tasks: 

 

A general task can be added directly to your To-do list by clicking +Task or using the quick create button on the bottom left. 


 


Matter Tasks: 

 

Within each matter you can create new tasks, manage existing ones and keep track of all progress within the matter on the Tasks tab. 

 


Tasks can be viewed in Board or List view according to your preference. 


 


Tasks can also be viewed in Me mode (to only show Tasks that you are assigned to). 

 

 
Document Review Tasks: 

 

You can assign a document to a colleague (e.g. for review). 


 
 


Assigning the document will add a task to the Tasks tab on the matter. 

 


This task will also show on the Document review tab of your To-do list. 

 

Call Log Tasks:

 

You can add tasks on calls requiring further action, within the Call log tab of a matter, or on any individual call log. 

 


Email Tasks:  

If any follow up actions are required on an email, tasks can be created directly from the email within the Emails tab of the matter.


 


Email Follow up reminders (selected while composing an email) will also be automatically added to your Tasks within the matter.  

 

 



 


Events Tasks: 

 

Tasks can be created on Key Dates or Appointments within the Events tab of a matter so you can better prepare for important upcoming dates, such as court hearings or client meetings. 

 

 

 

To access your Tasks, click on To-do list tab on your navigation menu. This page is divided into sections: Tasks, Document review and Call Log


 


If tasks are linked to a matter, you can also access them within the Tasks tab of a matter. 

 

 

 

Viewing Tasks 
 

  1. 1. Click on To-do list tab on your Home page. 

  1. 2. Select Tasks tab. 

 

 


You can view Tasks based on matter code, matter name, when they are due, their priority level and status. 

 

 

View tasks based on when they are due, to keep in line with your work flow. 

View tasks based on their priority level, to stay on top of what matters most. 

View tasks based on their status to ensure that all tasks get completed. 

 

Filters will further assist with setting your preferred Tasks view.

 

 

 

Your default view will show any of your tasks that are past due and due this week.  

InfoAny overdue tasks will show in Red font, so you can keep a track on any tasks that are falling behind. 

You can also Add, Delete, Print and Export tasks directly from the Tasks page. 

 
 

Edit Task. 

Delete Task. 

Print Task. 

Export Task list. 

Click +Task to add a new Task. 

 

 

There is a search option available within the Tasks tab for easy Task identification and management.
