Viewing Historic Emails in Matter Documents
All historical emails initially found under the Activities Tab, will now be available under your Matter’s Documents List for your reference, while all emails you send or receive using the new Thread version will now be accessible under the Matter’s Emails tab.
You can see emails that you added to your Activities tab previously.
Now, to view these historical emails, simply go to the Matter, under the Documents tab, where you can search, scroll and filter to locate the emails you are looking for.
If you wish to view the attachments of a historic email in the Documents page of a matter:
1. Click Matters on the left pane.
2. Search for your matter and click the matter name.
3. Select the Documents tab.
4. Click on the historic email that you wish to preview.
5. A preview will open in a new tab. Click on Download .
6. When downloaded, click Open file to view the email in Outlook, including attachments.
7. You will now see the email in full, plus any attachment(s).

Moving forward, emails sent and received in Thread will now be available under the dedicated Emails tab.
Viewing Email Attachments in Documents
If you have received or sent an email with an attachment, and the attachment was then moved to the Documents page of a matter, you can follow the steps below to view those:
1. Click Matters on the left pane.
2. Search for your matter and click the matter name.
3. Select the Documents tab.
4. In the Src column, you will see an email icon
signifying this document originated from an email as an attachment.
5. If you wish to preview the original email, click on the email icon in the Src column.
6. A preview of the original email will open in a pop-up window (plus any attachments).
